Counties Continue To Expand Swine Flu Vaccine Clinics

With additional doses of the swine flu vaccine arriving, Tri-County Health Departments say they will offer more opportunities for residents to get vaccinated against the virus.

In San Luis Obispo County residents can make an appointment to get vaccinated at clinics in Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo and Grover Beach on Monday, November 23rd. Vaccines will only be given to those within the high risk category, who have an appointment.

In Santa Maria, a vaccine clinic will he held on Saturday, November 21st, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Santa Barbara County Health Officials are also holding a third clinic in Santa Barbara at Earl Warren Showgrounds on Monday, November 30th. That clinic will run from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. On Wednesday, December 2nd, residents in the Santa Ynez Valley who qualify as high-risk can get the vaccine at the Veteran's Hall in Solvang, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Ventura County Health Officials say, they will offer H1N1 vaccines to health care providers.
