Christina Heller

Santa Barbara, CA-- Police say they arrested a man early Thursday morning for peeping into a the home of an unsuspecting woman.

Residents on the 1600 block of Bath Street called 911 just before 4:30 a.m., to report a prowler in a neighbors yard.

When police arrived on scene they found a 30-year-old Oxnard man standing on a trash can, looking into the window of a home.

Antonio Velez was approached by officers and placed under arrest. He was booked on peeping charges.

Detectives are not releasing Velez’s photo at this time because they believe he may be responsible for other reported cases of prowlers and peepers in the area.
