Residents Line Up In Carpinteria For H1N1 Vaccines
The swine flu is spreading in Santa Barbara County. Public health officials say a total of 47 people have been in the hospital with the H1N1 virus.
As more doses of the H1N1 vaccine make it to the area, people are taking no chances. Key News Reporter Coleen Sullivan has more on today's vaccine clinic that had some people lining up hours before the clinic even opened. Because of the recent H1N1 vaccine shipment more free clinics have been scheduled. Here is a list of the scheduled vaccination clinics: Monday, November 16, in Santa Barbara at the Earl Warren Showgrounds from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, November 19, in Lompoc at the Lompoc Public Health Center from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Saturday, November 21, in Santa Maria at the Santa Maria Public Health Clinic from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. |
