Election Brings New Political Presence To City Council
Santa Barbara, CA-- Following Tuesday night's election results, residents in the City of Santa Barbara saw a slight shift of power with the semi-official election of Frank Hotchkiss and Michael Self.
Hotchkiss and Self, both backed by "Preserve Our Santa Barbara," a group funded by Texas billionaire Randall Von Wolfswinkle, ran on a platform of reforming the current city government. A campaign that focused on reducing wasteful spending. Grant House, the only incumbent on the ballot was the top vote getter, followed by Harwood "Bendy" White. White, who has tentatively received the second highest amount of votes, is a city planning commissioner. KEY News Senior Reporter John Palminteri has more. |
