Global Warming Expert Visits UCSB

His groundbreaking work on the subject has earned him the title, "The Father of Global Warming." On Monday night, Dr. James Hansen, NASA's top global warming expert cautioned his packed audience at UCSB to take climate change research seriously.

An overflow crowd of hundreds poured into UCSB's Campbell Hall to hear Dr. Hansen address the question of whether or not we can avoid dangerous climate change. Just two days after former Vice President Al Gore, presented his documentary, "An Inconvenient Truth" at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, this world renowned scientist reinforced that movie's message.
