Fight At Soccer Game Sends Teen To Hospital And A Man To Jail

Ventura, CA-- Over the weekend two fights broke out following soccer matches in Ventura County.

A fight on Saturday following a youth soccer game at Community Park in Ventura, when a fight broke out and a 20-year-old man punched a 13-year-old in the face. The teen was taken to the hospital and treated for his injuries.

On Sunday evening a number Ventura Police officers responded to reports of a large fight at Community Park. When officers arrived, several hundred people were on the field arguing and some physically fighting each other.

The park was immediately closed and officers eventually dispersed the crowd.

Officers did arrest Efrain Flores for assaulting 13-year-old during the fight on Saturday afternoon.
