Sarah Palin Steps Down From Office

Wasilla, AK-- Alaska Governor and former Republican Vice Presidential hopeful, Sarah Palin announced Friday morning from her hometown in Alaska, that she will transfer power to the Lt. Governor.

In a press conference from Wasilla, Alaska, Gov. Palin said she will not seek re-election in 2010 and feels it is best at this time to hand the reins over to Lt. Governor Sean Parnell.

Palin was flanked by her children and husband while addressing the crowd.
