LocalDefense In Hollywood Trial Says, Hollywood's Associates Lied
Santa Barbara, CA-- The defense took center stage on Wednesday during the closing arguments of the Jesse "James" Hollywood murder trial.
Hollywood is on trial for ordering the killing of 15-year-old Nicolas Markowitz. The focus of Wednesday's proceedings were on this man: Graham Pressley. He's the person sentenced as a juvenile in the murder case and is now free. The defense says Pressley lied to investigators about where he was when the grave was dug for Markowitz. They also say he shouldn't be trusted when he says a close friend of Hollywood told him he turned down an offer of two thousand dollars to kill Markowitz. The defense says the prosecution's entire case centers around that testimony and jurors shouldn't believe it. The jury could return a verdict as soon as Friday. |
