News-Press May File New Suit Against Local Businesses
Some Santa Barbara business owners have been told to remove a controversial sign from their windows. The warning comes from the attorney for the Santa Barbara News-Press. The attorney believes signs saying, "McCaw Obey The Law" are defaming the paper's owner Wendy Mccaw. Some businesses have removed the sign. Others have it up inside their shops and not in their window.
One business plans to enlarge the attorney's letter, then post that in the window instead of the sign. KEY News Senior reporter has more from that owner and a response from the News-Press. |
