Search For Missing Woman Continues In Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara, CA-- An 89-year-old Santa Barbara woman who suffers from dementia has been missing for since Saturday afternoon.

Metta Thomsen, was last seen at her home on the 3300 block of Cliff Drive near the Hendry's Beach. Thomsen was wearing a blue shirt, blue denim pants, white tennis shoes and tan coat.

Thomsen is known to become disoriented and has a history of walking around the Mesa in Santa Barbara.

Thomsen is described as a 89-year-old woman, 5'7'', with a thin build and collar length grey hair.

If anyone has seen Thomsen or has information about her potential whereabouts they're asked to call the Santa Barbara Police Department at 897-2410.
