LocalHIV/AIDS Programs May Be Latest Victim Of State Budget Cuts
Ventura, CA-- A center that serves hundreds of people affected by HIV and AIDS is concerned, that HIV testing may be on the states chopping block.
Governor Schwarzenegger has proposed about $80 million in cuts to HIV and AIDS programs across the state. However, HIV/AIDS program advocates say the fight is on to cut the cuts in half. KEY News Bureau Chief Tracy Lehr joins us from our Ventura County newsroom with more. |
