LocalPolice Uncover Indoor Marijuana Grow And Howitzer Ammunition
Grover Beach, CA-- Police and narcotic detectives uncovered an indoor marijuana grow at home on Ocean View Avenue in Grover Beach.
While serving a search warrant as part of a joint narcotic investigation, detectives found what they're calling, a sophisticated hydroponic growing operation of more than 100 pot plants. During a search of the property they also found live ammunition for a 155mm Howitzer buried in the backyard of the home. Police are saying several neighbors had to be treated a local hospital for health problems associated with the venting system constructed at the home of the illegal grow operation. William Halstead, a 44-year-old Grover Beach man was taken into custody following the raid and the case has now been turned over the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney's Office. |
