Surfer Finds Body Part In Ocean

A surfer makes a gruesome discovery on Hollywood Beach in Oxnard Friday. Half of a body was found floating in the surf.
Coast Guard officials and Ventura County Sheriff's Deputies were called out to investigate. Officials say there's no telltale sign to know how long the body had been in the water.

An investigation and autopsy will determine whether the person fell overboard from a boat, died of natural causes or was the victim of a crime. Deputies are combing the beach on foot to look for additional clues.
