Drug Trafficking Bust Nets 22 In Santa Barbara And Goleta
Santa Barbara, CA-- A major drug trafficking ring was the target of early morning raids throughout Santa Barbara and Goleta.
The raids were part of a coordinated effort with members of the DEA, ICE, Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department and the Santa Barbara Police Department. Over 120 officers helped served 11 search warrants that resulted in the arrests of 22 people. Men, women and juveniles were among those arrested. Search warrants were served in the areas of Calaveras and Calle Real in Goleta, along with several locations on Gillespie St and West Valerio on Santa Barbara's westside. Detectives seized large amounts of cocaine, heroin and meth;. Friday's raids were the results of an ongoing trafficking investigation.
