Santa Barbara Toddler Makes One Last Trip

Mike Waller

A terminally ill Santa Barbara toddler will travel 5,000 miles cross-country this week, to meet her 104 year old great-grandfather for the very first time. Gwendolyn Strong suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy, or SMA. SMA is a terminal, degenerative childhood disease, and the number one genetic killer of young children.

For more information on the Strong family's cross-country trip and how you can help, go to SponsorAMile.com or GwendolynStrong.com.
