Christina Heller

Santa Barbara, CA-- Jurors in the Peter Jeschke case returned to a Santa Barbara Superior Courtroom Tuesday, announcing they had reached a decision on most of the counts the former high school tennis coach was facing.

36-year-old Jeschke, coached girls tennis at Santa Barbara High School before he was accused of and charged with furnishing some of his players with drugs and alcohol, then having sex with one of them.

Jeschke, who was facing over a dozen charges which included having sex with minor, may also now be facing multiple charges of witness intimidation.

At one point in the trail, a witness came forward and alerted Deputy District Attorney Joyce Dudley, that she had received messages via her Facebook account. According to Dudley, the intent of those messages was to dissuade the girl from testifying against Jeschke.

KEY News was in court when the jury returned with their verdict and will have the full story at KEY News 5 and 6 p.m.
