Blood Banks In Need Of Donors

Central Coast, CA-- January is National Blood Donor Month and United Blood Services on the Central Coast is issuing an urgent appeal for blood donations.

Type "O" negative and "A" negative blood is in great need because both of decreased blood donations and steady use over the past few weeks.

Blood donors must be older than age 16, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health.
