Armed Suspect Threatens Customers During Bank Robbery
Fillmore, CA-- An armed man entered the Fillmore branch of Santa Barbara Bank and Trust Tuesday morning, ordering customers to ground while he demanded money from a teller.
According to witnesses, the man pulled out a gun, announced he was robbing the bank and threatened to kill anyone that did not comply with his demands. The FBI is calling the suspect, the "No Straps" bandit because he demanded the teller give him the money without "straps" on it. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his early thirties, 5'6"-5'8" tall, unshaven with a black mustache. Witnesses told police he was wearing a blue ball cap, a bulky jacket, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
