Neglected Horses In Need Of Funds For Winter Sheltering
Ventura County, CA-- Ventura County's Humane Society is asking the public for a holiday donation to help pay for winter shelter for more than three dozen neglected horses.
The starving horses were rescued last October from a Lockwood Valley Ranch. One of the horses died days after the rescue. Humane Society caregivers say at least nine of the mares are pregnant and 11 more could be. If you would like to help you can call 805-656-5031 or visit www.humansociety.org |
