Budget Crunch Putting The Squeeze On Local Universities

Camarillo, CA-- California's budget crisis is taking another toll, California State University Channel Islands has announced plans to halt construction work on its state funded projects.

Three key undertakings will now be affected a whooping $105 million in campus infrastructure improvements.

The move comes in wake of the Pooled Money Investment Board's recent vote to halt nearly $4 billion in general obligation and Lease Revenue Bond Projects ranging from freeway improvements to school construction.
