Stabbing Victim Recovering After Painful Attack

Santa Maria, CA-- 20-year-old, Albert Valeras is in stable condition after being stabbed in the back Monday night

The attack happened near the intersection of Donovan and Western in while Valeras was walking home.

Santa Maria Police say, Valeras was walking when he was attacked by another man, who stabbed him in the back and left the knife in him.

Valeras was taken to Marian Medical Center where he underwent surgery.
