Inclement Weather Behind Holiday Burdens

Christina Heller

Santa Barbara, CA-- Snow has pounded much of the country causing havoc for travelers. But even if you're staying home in the Tri-Counties, there's cause for concern especially for those in the Tea Fire burn areas.

For a second time since the fire broke out in November the area is scheduled to receive major rainfall, prompting concerns over flooding and mudslides.

The Santa Barbara City Fire Department says it and other agencies will be monitoring the situation.

Fire, police and other agencies will watch water levels and other factors and they are asking for residents to be vigilant and report anything of concern.
