Orcutt Man Under Arrest For Murder

Orcutt, CA-- A 55-year-old Orcutt man suspect of stabbing to death his wife, is being held in Santa Barbara County Jail on $1 million bail.

Detectives with the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department are investigating the stabbing death of 58 year old Linda Jean Abeloe. On Saturday afternoon, Abeloe was found stabbed to death in her home in Orcutt.

When paramedics arrived at the home on the 5000 block of Kenneth Ave. they found the Abeloe deceased and obvious signs of a violent death.

Sheriff's deputies arrived a short time later to find Abeloe's husband Michael Carl Abeloe sitting in the living room with his 83 year old mother.

After their initial investigation, deputies placed Michael Abeloe under arrest.
