Forum Held To Help Tea Fire Victims Rebuild Their Homes
Local residents who lost their homes in the Tea Fire are taking active measures as a community to turn their ashes into opportunity. Today hundreds came together for a forum in Montecito to talk about rebuilding homes.
The focus of the forum was to give those who lost their homes suggestions on how to rebuild an energy refficient, fire resistent, sustainable home in the future. For many, the demolishing and rebuilding process won't begin until after the season's rains are over, which will be around Spring time. Until then, the Community Environmental Council will be holding more forums like the one today. KEY News Reporter Arti Nehru has more. |
