Air Quality Warning Issued For Areas Affected By Tea Fire

The Santa Barbara County Air Pollution Control District today issued an Air Quality Warning for areas in the Tea Fire and Montecito areas of southern Santa Barbara County. The Warning will be in effect through Saturday.

High winds are forecasted through Saturday night and may result in high particle levels. It's possible that other areas of the county may be affected as well.

Everyone, especially people with heart or lung problems, older adults, and children, should limit their time spent outdoors, and avoid outdoor exercise when high concentrations of dust and particles are in the air.
