Automakers Bailout Failure Creating Tense Nerves
Thousand Oaks, CA-- Local car dealers are anxious over the Senate's failure to agree on a bailout for US automakers.
November sales plunged 19% from a year ago and banks aren't making it easy for buyers to get car loans. Some auto industry workers are reluctant to talk about business others say, new leadership and a rescue package are needed before the end of the year. That's why some dealers are pulling out all the stops. Westoaks hopes to attract customers Saturday afternoon by hosting a Lakers Youth Foundation event with the Lakers Cheerleaders.
