Santa Barbara Community Academy wants to boost enrollment

Santa Barbara's seven year old community academy has been called a gem in the district. Now the year round school is working on a campaign to increase enrollment. Jessica Good is among the fourth through sixth graders at the Academy's La Cumbre campus. They were moved from the downtown location last year leaving just the kindergarden through third graders. The year round school is now in open enrollment. Parent Larry Good is working to boost the 320 head count. Whether the academy should reunite is up in the air.
