Former News-Press Columnist Speaks Out

A respected columnist in Santa Barbara is now speaking out, not in the paper, but on camera, after he could no longer take the changes at the News-Press and left the building last week. Barney Brantingham joined six high ranking editors who resigned and say the paper has broken journalistic rules. Senior reporter John Palminteri met with Brantingham today to discuss the turmoil at the embattled newspaper.
