Police believe a San Luis Obispo attorney is involved with financing a drug operation. According to a search warrant, Mansour Haddad, 42, was arrested after police surveillance uncovered evidence of Haddad's involvement with marijuana and cocaine sales. Haddad, a litigator, was initially charged in June for being under the influence of a controlled substance. Following the police surveillance operation, Haddad was arrested in late August and booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail. He faces charges of possession of a controlled substance for sale and conspiracy. When Haddad was arrested by the county Narcotics Task Force, he was found to allegedly be in possession of one ounce of cocaine which he tossed to ground when approached by law enforcement.
