Oxnard Police are on the lookout for the driver of a pick-up who allegedly tried to kidnap a young woman at gunpoint. Investigators say it happened around 10:20 Wednesday night, near the corner of Gonzales and Lantana in Oxnard. The 17 year old victim, told police she ran for her life when the pick-up drove up and the driver ordered her to get in at gunpoint. Police say this is not related to another incident that turned out to be a false report earlier this month. But neighbors say they are concerned about girls walking alone in the area. The victim says the driver was in a light colored pickup with a broken headlight and tail-light. KEY News Ventura County Bureau Chief Tracy Lehr has more on this story.
