Lighting Fire Complex Update
Fire crews are gaining ground on a series of fires sparked by lightning in the Los Padres National Forest. The so called Santa Lucia Lightning Complex is burning in a remote area of the forest and is so far 40% contained. More than 500 firefighters are working to build a three mile fireline that would completely contain the blaze. No buildings are threatened and no evacuations have been ordered. Crews expect to have the fire contained by Thursday.
