Witnesses Take The Stand In Juarez Trial
Three more witnesses took the stand Friday in the Ricardo Juarez murder trial. Two of them were teenagers arrested at gunpoint on March 14th, 2007, the same day Luis Linares was stabbed to death during the downtown gang brawl. The two teens recalled being at the scene and seeing the defendant, Ricardo Juarez there too. But they testified that they did not see who inflicted the fatal wound. Another witness, a downtown shopper, testified that she saw a teen with gloves stab the victim and someone else hitting the victim in the head with an aluminum baseball bat. The trial resumes Monday.
