City Height Limits Move Closer To November Ballot
It's the latest chapter in the controversial, local effort to limit building heights in the city of Santa Barbara. Petitions containing more than 11, 250 signatures are in the hands of the City Clerk tonight. They were turned in Friday morning by several groups with hopes to restrict building heights from 60 feet to 40 or 45. But the effort will need voter approval. But as KEY News Reporter Beth Farnsworth discovered, not everyone supports the petition drive.
