Dog Rescuer Faces IRS Scrutiny
A local feed store that is turning into a pet shop is trying to do the right thing and stay in business. A man who's given more than 1600 dogs a new leash on life, is told he'll have to pay thousands of dollars to continue his humanitarian hobby. Tracy Lehr reports it won't be easy.
Since the store is not a non profit it can't get the abandoned pets without paying 60 dollar each. The Newbury Park Pet supply store is holding a raffle and other fundraising events to try to stay in business. For more information you can call 498-2415 or send an email to NPFEED@YAHOO.COM |
