Just before 9 p.m. Monday night, an armed robber entered a Jersey Mike's Sub shop in Oxnard, brandished a gun and demanded money from the clerk. The gunman took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and fled in the direction of Petco. The sub shop is located on the 2000 block of Oxnard Blvd near the intersection of Gonzalez Rd. Witnesses say the suspect was a Hispanic male 20-30 years old, about 5'6'' and he was wearing a dark baseball cap, which may have had a Dodger emblem. Anyone who may have information about this crime are asked to call the Oxnard Police Department.
