Gunman Holds Up Ventura Pharmacy
An armed robber is on the loose after taking off with cash from a local pharmacy. It happened just after seven this morning at the Longs Drugstore on North Ashwood in Ventura. Police say a man entered the store, pointed a handgun at several employees and forced them to lie on the floor. After ordering the store manager to open the safe, the gunman then filled a duffel bag with an undisclosed amount of cash and left the store. The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 20 to 30-years-old with a medium build. Witnesses say he wore a black baseball cap, dark jacket and dark jeans.
