Charges Filed in Boy's Death

County prosecutors filed manslaughter charges Friday against a Santa Maria man accused of killing his girlfriend's 5-year-old son. Authorities say Juan Francisco Nunez buried the boy in the sand during a July 4th celebration at the Oceano Dunes. Nunez now faces felony involuntary manslaughter charges, and 11 years in prison. Nunez is set to be arraigned on Monday.
