In response to increased fire danger, the Los Padres National Forest is adding more restrictions to it's list. Starting July 18th and for the remainder of fire season:
All wood and charcoal fires are prohibited, including inside designated camping areas.
Portable stoves are allowed inside those areas if they use gas, jellied petroleum or pressurized liquid fuel.
Recreational target shooting is prohibited in all areas outside the Winchester Gun Club in Santa Barbara and the Ojai Valley Gun Club in Ojai. And finally, smoking is prohibited in all areas except within an enclosed car, building or designated campsite.
