UPDATE: According to Thousand Oaks Police, 86 year old John Stipec Jr. has been located in Duarte a city east of Los Angeles. Stipec was found in a motel, healthy and unharmed. Stipec was driven back to Ventura County by family members.

Authorities in Thousand Oaks are asking for your help in locating a missing Thousand Oaks man. John Stipec Jr. was last seen on Saturday, driving his red, Dodge Dakota pick-up truck in the Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park area. Family members are concerned about Stepic's whereabouts because he has recently exhibited signs of dementia. Days before his disappearance Stepic had told family members he wanted to drive his truck to San Francisco.

Stepic is described as a white male, 6'1'', 190 pounds with white hair and hazel eyes. He is 86 years old and takes medication for high blood pressure, and may be in need of his medication. Stepic drives a red, Dodge Dakota pick-up truck with a license plat of 7X11879.
