Residents Continue To Oppose Prison Hospital
A plan to replace a Ventura County juvenile detention center with a prison mental hospital for adults is fueling a grass roots effort to stop it. Some of Camarillo's nicest neighborhoods are just down the road from the Ventura County Youth Correctional Facility. They say they don't mind being close to juvenile offenders but a prison facility is out of the question. KEY News Bureau Chief Tracy Lehr is in our Ventura County newsroom with more.
