A Santa Barbara woman convicted of running down a local doctor while intoxicated will not get her sentence reduced because she's pregnant. Judge Frank Ochoa ruled that Heather Hulsey will serve her full six year, four month sentence. However, Judge Ochoa did specify that after Hulsey has her baby she can apply for a program for prison mothers to remain with their babies. The program allows mothers to be taken off site to live with their children under supervision outside of a prison setting.
