Man Exposes Himself To Joggers
Thousand Oaks investigators are asking for your help in catching a man who exposes himself to women walking or jogging in the Northwood Parkway and Pederson Road areas. The suspect is described as a white male in his late teens or early twenties, with black or dark brown hair, approximately 5'8'-6' tall and slender build. According to police reports the suspect wears a black beanie or something to cover his face, one victim described him to be wearing a yellow or tan fisherman's hat. On all occasions the suspect hides in the buses or trees surrounding walkways and committing lewd acts and exposing his private parts. Reports of these incidents date as far back as September of 2006 and as recently as June 26 of this year. Police are telling women that frequent the areas of Northwood Parkway near the Conejo Open Space and Pederson Road at Calle Estepa to exercise caution when alone. Investigators believe the suspect may live in the area are asking for anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 494-TALK.
