Undocumented Inmates Factor Of Jail Overcrowding
Ventura County's Grand Jury says it's time to deal with jail overcrowding. But most of the jury's recommendations will take time and money. The latest figures show that arrests in Ventura County are up more than six percent. But space in local booking facilities and jails haven't increased in years. KEY News Bureau Chief Tracy Lehr spoke to members of the grand jury and joins us from our Ventura County newsroom with more.
