Personal Health Records May Be Target For Hackers
On Monday, the Internet giant of Google unveiled a new service, Google Health. The website would allow patients to post and store their personal health records in an online server. The server would allows physicians, pharmacists and patients quick and easy access to information about a person's health history. Doctors are hailing this as a technological advance that would aide in providing proper care for their patients, but patients aren't so quick to agree. Critics of the website are concerned with potential security flaws and the credibility of the patient posted content. KEY News Reporter Beth Farnsworth has the story.
