Arrests Made In 154 Murder Mystery
The Santa Barbara Sheriff's Department has just announced the arrests of 4 men in connection to the murder of 23 year old Adan Cervantes Ruiz. Ruiz was found last September wrapped in a sleeping bag, lying alongside Highway 154 in the Santa Ynez Valley. Investigators found that Ruiz had died from a gunshot wound to his abdomen. The investigation into the murder also led to the discovery of a large, marijuana grow site south of Lompoc and clues that also pointed to a Riverside County connection. After nearly 8 months Sheriff's detectives have arrested and booked into Santa Barbara County Jail, two men from Perris, CA and two men from Santa Maria, CA. All four men are being held on murder charges without bail.
