Ventura County Sheriff's Department have arrested 29 year old James Edward McEnnan for numerous accounts of sexual assault, oral copulation with a minor and sending harmful material via the Internet. According to authorities, McEnnan was having a sexual relationship with a 13 year old girl he met in November of 2007 while working as a counselor at a youth camp in the Conejo Valley. Sheriff's officials have confirmed that throughout the relationship, McEnnan sent explicit photos and videos of himself to the young girl via email. The victim, who is now 14, broke her silence about the crimes being committed when she alerted administrators at the junior high she attended. School officials then notified law enforcement, who then began an investigation uncovering McEnnan's alleged sexual encounters with the girl. James McEnnan not only interacted with youths while working as a camp counselor but he is also employed as a tutor in the entertainment industry. This has led detectives to believe there may be more victims out there.
