Another Boy Scout Claims Molestation

Sheriff’s Detectives have found another boy scout victim in an alleged molestation case.

Officials arrested 28 year old Al Stein, a volunteer for the Boy Scouts, for lewd acts with a child or sexual assault on December 4th.
A boy scout told his parents he was assaulted by Stein at a Christmas tree lot at the beginning of the month.

Since then a second victim has come forward. The 12-year-old former Troop told his parents he was molested by Stein earlier this year during a Boy Scout function in Goleta.

Al Stein is expected to be arraignment on January 7th, 2008. Sheriff’s Detectives continue to investigate allegations while looking for more information. Any one with information about Al Stein should call 681-4150.
