Firefighters Contain Magic FireThe Magic Fire is now contained. The fire that started near Magic Mountain and worked it's way 3 miles of Ventura County is now 100% contained as of Thursday night, according to Ventura County Fire Department. The fire has burned 2,824 acres. There was scare that the Magic Fire would merge with the Ranch Fire, but now both fires are on their way to containment. All evacuations have been lifted in Ventura County, giving the community another reason to celebrate. The Magic Fire broke out Monday afternoon, behind Magic Mountain in the Santa Susana Mountains. Precautionary evacuations have been lifted for northern unincorporated areas of Simi Valley, including Tapo Canyon Road, Bennett Road and Ditch Road.
