Governor Signs Bills Protecting Child Abuse Victims

Governor Schwarzenegger has signed four bills aimed at protecting victims of child abuse.
One bill prohibits convicted child abusers from going within 35 miles of a child's residence.
Another bill increases the number of days a sexual abuse victim will be notified their abuser is being released from prison.
And, the other bills tighten loopholes and expands the list of sex offenses for which victims can request their names to be withheld.
