Moorpark Mammoth Comes to Santa Barbara
The Santa Barbara Natural History Museum received a huge mammoth today, skeleton that is.
A one million year old mammoth arrived at the museum this afternoon all the way from Moorpark. It took hours for staff to unload the skeleton. The mammoth was found in Moorpark in March of 2005 and has been kept there since. The museum plans to put the mammoth with a much younger Paleontological Pachyderm, the pygmy mammoth of Santa Rosa Island. KEY NEWS brings you video from this exciting arrival. |
